Jeg Vil Ha En Liten Hund!

Now you can hear Lille Eris' Jeg Vil Ha Liten Hund (I Want A Little Dog!), the annoyingly oh-so-cute Norwegian hit of the 1960s immortalized on Incorrect Music, on YouTube here. Some teenager is lip-synching to the song.

(If only it was a video of Lille Eris from Norwegian TV.)

I think, though, that my mom will prefer this video of The Beatles performing I Want To Hold Your Hand on the Ed Sullivan show.

Why does Ronald McDonald look like Satan?

Some activists have posted a video game in which you operate a burger chain not dis-similar to McDonalds and have to do all sorts of politically incorrect things and be exploitative to win.

I'll bet that on some right-leaning sites, this game will be a hit amongst waggish bloggers playing tongue in cheek.

The Snobs!

Direct from the court of George the Third:
The Snobs!

Not surprisingly, you can use the search terms "Toffee-nosed" and "git" to find this video on YouTube.

The Gospel According to the Beatles

A new book, The Gospel According To The Beatles, explores the Fab Four's interaction with religion. An online excerpt speculates whether John Lennon was on the brink of becoming born again in 1977.

Somehow, I don't think that David Noebel will be asked to review the book, do you?

A soccer title that Canada could win

Who would be the soccer champions of the world if they were decided as boxing titles were? Soccer nerds have found, at the Unofficial Football World Championships website, that the might soccer power Georgia would be world champions--if titles were decided by defeating the previous champion. Given that countries such as the Dutch Antilles and Angola have held this unofficial fun title, Canadian soccer players should head to Georgia immediately!
