While looking for something else, I came across this video of a Matthew Robert Payne, a fellow who I am guessing is from Australia. He figures that he is a "prophet" and he has a word for Todd Bentley, the evangelist.
Throughout the video posted today (January 13)...
...which bounces back and forth between Matthew talking and "Jesus" talking, you get the feeling that Matthew, speaking in Christ's name, thinks that Todd Bentley is the bee's knees.
He and I can amicably disagree about that, but I want to make a quick note on something that "Jesus" says at the 9:35 mark, while speaking to and blessing Todd Bentley: "We'll be back on the stages in no time." At the top right of the page, we have a further word from Matthew:
"Todd bentley is mine. Heaven cries over Todd Bentley. Todd will return to ministry soon!" says Jesus in this prophetic word to Todd Bentley."
Uh, sorry to break it to this prophet, but Bentley can be fairly said to have been ministering for a month now. His latest revival has been happening in Fort Mill S.C. for about a week now.
Guess that Jesus forgot to tell him.
(Unless that Matthew is accidentally saying that Jesus says He is not yet on stage with Todd and thus has no part in this new Bentley revival yet...which I don't think that Matthew wants to say! :) )
"If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him." says Deuteronomy 18:22. Even in Australia.
