Todd's history tags along behind him
{Posted at Bene Diction Blogs On, June 6, 2011]
Unfortunately for Todd Bentley, a reporter for Appleton Wisconsin's newspaper is on the ball.
He was in the city for revival meetings yesterday, which resulted in this story: "Controversial preacher Todd Bentley to speak at Neenah revival"
Reporter Cheryl Anderson notes many of the low posts of the collapse of the Lakeland revival, and that Bentley refused to get back to her for her story. Unfortunately for Todd, he hasn't learned that a well sourced story doesn't need direct comments from him.
A note about the structure of the story--as in most "inverted pyramid" stories, what the reporter and editors consider the most important comes at the top.
So, as the pastor they quote at the top of the story says, we can guess that the Appleton Post Crescent's staff likely has "grave concerns" about Todd Bentley too.
